| | And I don't mean "ho" like the Imus way - so let's not go there! My left eye is red. I cam into work Wednesday & my co worker said "What's up with your eye?" I looked. It was red. I went to the Dr yesterday & she said it wasn't pinkeye (no discharge. Sorry. Gross word: "discharge!") but that maybe it was too soon. She gave me the names/numbers of some eye doctors -- but said to use some visine & wait 'til Wednesday, at least, before I go. I'm thinkin' it might be from crying. Did a lot of it last week. Wrote about it over there. The other one. As I start to wean myself from this one... Nothing serious. Don't worry. The widowed pigeon is still on the other balcony. I don't know what they do if/when a mate dies. Do they move on? Die? I tell you - the pigeon poop I hate... having the pigeons here, though, has been fascinating. We are ALL going to J's house for the weekend. I am meeting kids in NYC after work, we will all go up to meet J (and possibly R - if she doesn't have to work) at the synagogue we like: B'nai Jeshurun. Max is a bit put off because we're going to services -- but I told him he's never seen anything like this! People dance in the aisles! There is an energy and spirituality there that just amazes! People come from all over the world to attend services there. It's an amazing place. Then we're meeting a friend & a group of her friends for dinner for her birthday -- although I'm a bit tentative about that... might be too much for the kids & not sure I want to inflict them on her party... Then - tomorrow Yankees Game. Then - Sunday Coney Island and a Brooklyn Cyclones game. We'll deal with Monday when it comes. Have a good one, guys! |
